Terms

Hush-a-Bye Babies will only undertake business on the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are legally binding so please read them carefully. The acceptance of a Hush-a-Bye Nanny introduced by the Agency will be deemed as acceptance of our Terms and Conditions of Business.

The agency acts as an introduction only therefore no nanny is directly employed by the agency. The client is liable to pay the nannies tax and National Insurance or will have an agreement with the nanny for the nanny to pay their own tax and National Insurance if they are working on a self-employed basis.

The agency will accept no liability whatsoever for the actions of any nanny at any point in time for losses, damages, injury, deaths etc caused by the nanny whilst on duty or otherwise.

The agency will interview, follow up all references and carry out all checks on all nannies but it is ultimately down to the client to make any further enquiries to gain suitability of the nanny.

The agency gives no guarantee regarding the suitably, character, medical condition or capability of the nanny and so will not accept any responsibility for any action taken by the nanny whilst on duty.

All information keep on file is confidential. If however information is passed on to a third party resulting in employment other than through our agency this will be considered as a breach of terms and could result in full payment being charged to our client.

Agency fees are non-refundable if the contract is terminated. Click here for our rates of payment.

If the client cancels a confirmed booking less than 14 working days prior to commencement of the nanny starting a position the full fee is payable to the agency and one weeks salary payable to the nanny. If the client can do so by providing 14 working days notice the agency reserves the right to charge 20% of the fee for work incurred.

Client Refund - If a nanny cancels a confirmed booking every effort will be made by the agency to find a suitable replacement nanny at no extra charge. (only one replacement is due per introductory fee paid)

If however this can not be met a refund will be offered after four weeks of the nanny service. If the contract is terminated or your nanny is made redundant a refund will not be given.
